June 20-June 24, 2022

 Good Morning Parents and Students:

I want to say, thank you to the parents and students in grades 6-8 for making this year a great year.  We have made it to the final week of school.  This week, we will be packing up the classroom. I will be collecting textbooks, and students will take home the books that are theirs.  Students will be doing some maintenance work in ELA and Social Studies, but most of what will be done is packing up for the end of the year.  We will be doing reading stamina drills and I will plan educational Kahoot games for this final week.

I would like to have an end of the year party probably Thursday or Friday for homeroom class. I welcome students to bring in any games that they want. I know a lot of the students like Monopoly and Uno.  I will order pizza,  as well.  I will talk with the students tomorrow regarding this matter.

Once again, I want to thank both parents and students for making my first year a GREAT Year!  Have a wonderful and safe summer.

Sincerely,

Ms. Slocum
